Stars at Fashion Week in New York

Lots of stars showed up backstage, at parties and in the front rows for fashion week. Some looking trendy, some outdated, some just blah. Kim, Kim, Kim,.... the outfit, somewhat questionable, but not necessarily the worst part of the look. Let's talk about that makeup, hun, really, it's looking rather pastey.
Lisa Raye, or should I say grandma, along with friends.
Ashanti works the red carpet for the Hearth's Truth Red Dress show, which raises awareness of heart disease in women.
Amerie looking quite classy and for once, someone that didn't pose where their bag was overpowering them in the photo.
Amerie also stopped by the BCBG show.
Joy Bryant, keeping warm, while staying cute.
Vivica Fox......... was she under the impression that she was going to be in Vegas rather than fashion week in New York?

More Fashion Week

Kimora Lee Simmons showed the new Baby Phat and KLS collections for Fall 2008 at New York's Fashion Week. The collections were a bit more passive than what's normally expected from Kimora. the sparkle and glitz that are normally seen in her lines were missing, but the Baby Phat collection for Fall 2008 seems to focus more on shape and design than glitz and sparkle. It actually seems to be a nice line that has matured with more sophistication than past lines. The line and runway show also seem to carry a 1920's theme. Quite a few celebs joined the show.

Christina Milian sporting all black and a new shorter hair cut (cute boots!).

The ladies of Nina Sky stopped by the show. Something about that skirt and pink blouse looks a tad bit matronly. Think it would have looked better with pants and without the grandma sweater....it's looking a little librarian.
Tyra, sporting bit of a plain jane look, nice hair though.
Remy Ma, looking quite glammed-up, but who's modeling for the camera, her or the bag? When it comes to celebrities taking photos, I think the huge bags need to stay at home.

Mad Money Premiere

Queen Latifa is looking quite stunning in this knee length black lace dress. Those shoes add just the right pinch of spice to the outfit!

Final Show for Valentino

Valentino's final collection hit the runway Wednesday January 23rd at the Rodin Museum in Paris, France. It's hard to believe that this is the end of the road for the fashion legend. His innovative fashions will be missed. Below are some of the designs from the final show.

Roscoe Jenkins Premiere

The stars poured in for the premiere of Roscoe Jenkins in Los Angeles.
Of course, we have Martin Lawrence looking like Mr. Cool.

The lovely Mo'nique shines in this satin floor-length gown.

Vanessa William joined the red carpet with a cool sporty-chic style.

Nicole Ari Parker shines on the red carpet in this fitted cream dress, along with what some speculate to be a baby bump.

Joy Bryant is Captivating and sophisticated in this floor-length cream dress.

Raven joined the fun, not quite sure about this look. The accessories make it look a little over done, but the all black makes it seem a little dull. I think the bag needs to go. What ya got in there Raven??

Also on the red carpet for the premiere of Roscoe Jenkins we have Michael Clarke Duncan and Sandra Clarke....oops, I mean an unknown guest.

Sparkling Ladies at the BET Honors

Looks like jewels and sequins are the style theme on the red carpet at the BET Honors Ceremony. Alicia Keys is looking quite gorgeous in this silky bejeweled gown.
Jill Scott sports all over sequins.
The gorgeous Kerry Washington sashays in this satin bejeweled gown.
Keyshia Cole sparkles as well, while showing off a little leg.
Vivica Fox is looking absolutely gorgeous in this blue floor length gown.
